Hard times... New beginings

I have recently been rendered homeless in a bad break up with my ex....I lost my company in 2010.. and so art has been on the back burner ever since..
However..
I have chosen to start again.. and renew my designs and art..
sorry I haven't been here for a long time..it's been rough for me to say the least..
My designs and art will be featured in the heromachine 3.0 which is pretty awesome..so check it out in a few months for costume bits from capital comics characters..
as for my art work..
I have taken time off to work on my anatomy studies, and have perfected my design model sheets..

The War-Earth Saga(Alternate Reality)

Following up on some designs and ideas I had awhile ago, is the concept of the CCS universe muti-reality stories. Like with DC comics and Marvel there are multiple realities out there, and in some cases they intersect with our own reality. The War-Earth is a storyline which depicts an alternate reality, in which the Earth is still at war. WWII never ended, and instead of a nuclear arms race, a genetics and super hero arms race began. Nuclear Weapons are still in existence, only they came much later and pale in comparison to the power and might of super powered beings. The story pics up in the future, where country alliances have become more solidified and the people of multiple nations are weary from massive attacks by super powered beings.
The War-Earth Saga:
There is no vigilante justice, just heroes trying to keep their territories safe, and the military heroes taking up their causes of war. the Third Reich fell in Germany, but survived and was Reborn as the Master Reich, the Allied forces became one large nation, I.A.S. (the International Allied States) which encompassed all of North America, Canada, Mexico, and the UK, as well as Parts of Southern Africa, and Australia. The Master Reich and the Axis alliance conquered almost all of Europe, the middle east, and Northern Africa. Central Africa was cutoff and remains a wasteland. China was conquered partially by Japan and is allied with Russia in it's northern half. The Free Republic of the U.S.S.R. is what exists now, with Russia becoming Democratic in the wake of the long wars. Neo-Isreal was founded in South America, in which now exists it's own nation state.. and seeks to once more reclaim it's former lands int he middle east with the defeat of the Master Reich.
History chose a different path. In the Allied States, A new Super Weapon was discovered with a powerful set of Super-powered heroes, when Doctor Max Hunter discovered the energies from a Meteorite could alter human physiology. Six other doctors got infected with that radiation as the mysterious meteor became unstable and exploded..the result left those 7 people with awesome powers and abilities. This event changed the War, and created the Super-powers arms race that exists today. The Government designated them as the Sovereign Brigade, and they have been able to keep the International Allied States Free from the Master Reich and the Axis Alliance for over 60 years.
The Master Reich is the rebirth of Hitler's Third Reich under the leadership of his grandson, Alaric Hitler. The Master Reich has it's own super powered heroes, which constantly attack and battle with the Forces of the I.A.S., the Uber Aryan whose powers were derived from psychic related experiments, and Ancient Atlantean technology. The Iron Cross are part mutants, and part Genetic creations. they are given powers by a machine known as the volaris Device. An alien artifact which secretly was given by the Asturens in exchange for the Master Reich's assistance to provide human slave labor at the end of the War.
The War Patriot fav.me/d303ml9 is the development of Teh Zeeb, who is a Varnon renegade scientist experimenting to create the Universe's most powerful being, one who is of a prophecy, that would end the tyranny of the Asturen empire throughout the milky way galaxy. Adam Powers was an enlisted soldier who ended up by fate again becoming the hero he was destined to be. The birth of the War Patriot herald a new beginning and turned the tide of the battle. however, in the wake of his creation was to be the death of most of the Sovereign Brigade, and most of the Iron Cross. Only 2 members of the Sovereign Brigade, and 3 members of the Iron Cross survived. Notably Doctor Max Hunter, who became a trusted Mentor to the War patriot, who later took the mantle of the Libertarian.
The War Wages onward for another 4 years, as the War patriot puts an end to the tyranny of the Master Reich all over the world, and eventually leads to the ultimate confrontation with the Uber Aryan, and the Asturen Alien forces. It was with the help of Thundara and Members of the Guardian Legion from the Normal CCS Reality, that the Master Reich and the Asturen Alien forces were defeated once and for all. The Master Reich went into hiding and the rise of the Silver Wolf began. the War Patriot having known of the Guardian Legion, formed his own Guardian League, and began a membership drive with heores and mutants from across the I.A.S. Eventually The Uber Aryan Dies at the hands of the War Patriot, and for once the war ravaged Earth knows freedom and peace.
at least For now..
This storyline is going to be the focus of some design work for the next couple of weeks, as I flesh out those heroes, and characters who participate in that series..It's a chance for me to work on other ideas, and at the same time gain a bit of freedom from the art block I am having on the normal CCS universe. I hope you guys like this jaunt into the World of the War-Earth and the characters and their brief stories which fit into that scenario..

Changes coming as of October 15

As you guys well know, I have a massive gallery of art here on DA, and in some cases, really old art from 07-08..
so, in keeping with the times and changes in my style, and character development, I will be deleting a massive portion of art from my galleries, and pages..
Not everything, just those pieces of art, and works that I feel are not in keeping with the Capital comics characters I am in development with.
As many of you know, I am was working with a wonderful talent,
we have since parted ways, on really good terms, he is still my bro!
anyhow, there are going to be some changes to the Guardian Legion Roster, most notably the removal of Blue Jaye who is being replaced by the Crimson Crow.

along with several of the hydraxian aliens, and agenda crew, and the Terror organization know as T.H.R.E.A.T. all belong to him, so I will be purging my Gallery so that Gabriel can move onward easily without fan or friend confusion.. he is a really great talented artist and I hope you guys wish him well and continue to support his work.
I am also making changes to the format of the Turn around character model sheets, as you can see from the newly reloaded

the character model sheets are now smaller (while showing more of the character and not the sheet, it gives you a better view of the design), and no more floating heads, just armor and capes or accessories is all I am adding in..
There will be some new character model sheets coming, with newer templates I have created for specific character styles, and in addition to that, I will be doing character models of some heroes and villains in normal Wear, in their secret identities..
so much more to come soon to this page, so stay tuned and don't worry about those images which are being deleted, they are not necessary to what is key in the works as we move forward into the winter and ultimately what will be a big 2011.
As for the Westlands, I am diligently working on the script for the TV series, and more designs are headed your way, so stay tuned..
as for commissions, I am almost finished with some outstanding work, and I am thankful for those customers who have waited patiently as I got my life, and portable hard drive in order..

yeah, you know you can't keep a good man down! ha ha!
Okay, life lessons aside, and my career on an even keel, I am back in the saddle again and this time I am going to get a move on with CCS
anyhow, I am sorry I have been away for some time, I am going to just fore go the messages, all 9,500 of them, and the 72 notes, and start from scratch..
so, I am open to commissions, and work, and I would love to get back to talking to some of my friends on here..hope you all have been well during this recession. I am happy to report, I have picked myself up off the ground and am moving onward..
It seems as if I am alone now in the capital comics arena, but that is okay. I have sent on some script work and art work to fox studios and the execs at the sci-fi channel and I am actively seeking their response to the pitch of the Westlands as a TV series.. so we will see what happens there..
As to my art, more is to come soon.. I have to get caught up on some old outstanding commissions work, and will be busy doing that this week..
I am glad to know that there are many who have come by my page and said hello, believe me your kind words will be read and appreciated..I am the luckiest artist in the world, and feel so right now, with all of the support..
