Description

Originally conceived in 1959
"Superman's Other Life". Krypton Lives On (part 1). Futuro-Super-Hero of Krypton (part 2), Superman of Two Worlds. (part 3).

This was quite probably one of the first ever instances of the DC Comics companies "Else Worlds". The Story is quit interesting, yet with today's standards would be considered preposterous, but never the less, comics is about entertainment and fantasy, with the premise of expanding the readers mind to new possibilities..

Anyways here is the back story of Futuro, the Guardian Of Krypton!!

Cameo appearances: Jor-El, Lara, Jonathan Kent, Martha Kent, Krypto, Lois Lane (as characters in a computer simulation)

Intro: Robo (a robot), Zal-El (Kal-El’s brother; “dies” in this story), Futuro (Xan-Du; all as characters in a computer simulation; only appearance for all)

Comment: In this story, Batman refers to an untold case of Superman’s, Batman’s, and Robin’s.
Synopsis: Batman and Robin have Superman feed his Fortress of Solitude computer the question, “What would Superman’s other life have been like if Krypton had not exploded?” The answer: he would have had a younger brother, Zal-El; he would have become a member of the Space Patrol; he would be the best pal of Futuro, a Kryptonian turned into a super-hero by a ray bombardment; and, when Futuro left Krypton to marry Lois Lane and live on Earth, he would have been given super-powers by the same radiation and protect Krypton as Superman. Unfortunately, Jor-El, Lara, and Zal-El would die in an accident.

The Original Costume of Futuro was Green White and Red.. with shorts, but I decided why not just do it my own way an d give him an updated color scheme, so the A, B,C,D costume colors I have devised are not reflective of the actual colors of Futuro!! But there have been instances where I have seen variations, but that may be due to comic paper quality and such..

I hope you guys like these versions and I hope you check out back issues of comics, from an era where the stories were meant to inspire and entertain, not push a political agenda forward, or make a commentary on social issues.. if Marvel and DC want to do that, then why do comics? Why not just write for newspapers??? Capital Comics and my views are such that we respect the past comics lines and will push forward with a classic style and story content, but with updated and modern style..
