In the classic Universe, I have intertwined the mythology of the Gods and the scripture, so as to fit into the comic universe, the advent of Norse, Chinese, Japanese, Hindu, Egyptian, and Greek mythologies..

The beginning:

In the beginning God stretched his powerful hands and clapped a thunderous burst of energy.. thus creating the Universe. God had always been and had always existed. His life force and energy was there before the darkness, and he has existed across all manner of realities. His decision to enact a "Big Bang" and begin another universe may never be known.. but upon his creation of the Universe, he set in motion his minions of life..

The Titans! Huge and powerful Gods of Life and Creation, overseen by God's hands of destiny, the Angels.
the Titans had the ability to carve worlds into the universe, and upon which they would deposit seeds of life.

the children of these Titans settled on these worlds and began the task of creating an order for those creatures to follow. These Children or lesser Gods were called in the old tongue, Aesir! On Earth they created Dinosaurs and great Beasts, but such creatures were too violent and not worthy of such a beautiful World.. so with a mighty strike, God reset the work of the Aesir, and thus the mammal reign was born..

About the time that earth Was created, a small War broke out in Heaven, and Lucifer lead a group of rebel Angels against their God. Only to be struck down and cast into a bottomless pit, a dimensional rift in Space known commonly as a Black Hole.

There Lucifer was held at bay, never to regain his physical form, and presided over all manner of evil that existed in the universe..

It was on Earth that God created Man, in his image. he gave them the soul. a Powerful existence, which could be taken away from this realm and into the light of God. As the Aesir set about creating the sun, and the winds, rain, fire, thunder and such. Man existed and feared their work.

It was Lucifer that convinced man to Worship the Aesir, and he too convinced the Aesir to revolt and slay their Titan Parents, or enslave them. Lucifer's persuasion led the Aesir to consider themselves actual Gods over all of Man, in a way making them master of the one true God (since Man/Women were created in God's Image).
Over time these "Gods" enacted cruel and unusual Games on Man, until the wrath of God befell them.

for their defiance, the Aesir were remanded to a distant realm, punishment came swift.. and they were not to set foot on the Earth, except to oversee his Humans and thwart the powerful persuasions of Lucifer..

Since much of Humanity had forgotten their one true God, he sent them his son, to remind them of his existence, and their true origin.

In the years since that day, much of Man's life has been given to Free will, and as such, Lucifer and his agents try to undermine God at every turn.. it was the Aesir, who would send emissaries to Earth (Thundara, daughter of Thor) so they might fight a secret war against the Dark powers of Lucifer's underworld armies.. for there are also Aesir who believe that Lucifer's rebellion is just, and have joined their powers to his..(Hades, and Doctor Deathshade)

Humanity has come along way, and with technology, Super Heroes and beings of such power, a New god like race has emerged, but do they fight for good, or do they fight for evil? Do they heed the warning of the past?

in one great Battle the earth was threatened by a powerful alien horde, and would have perished, had it not been for Marcus Maximus AKA Captain Starblast and all of Earth's heroes..the Aesir were powerless to stop this assault, but they sent their emissaries to assist..

Lucifer and the Gods of the Aesir Underworld also sent their emissaries to assist in the Earth's defense.. for Humanity is near and Dear to God, and as such is worth protecting to Lucifer, whose single goal is to turn his favorites to the dark, and thereby winning his war of rebellion.

A battle that still rages..though unseen to many..

7 Humans were chosen when their race was created. these 7 represent the combined knowledge and witness to the Universe.. they are immortal and are unable to die..(Captain Starblast and Captain Italia) it is said at the end times, they will choose a side to join, and fight.. only an immortal and Only God can kill another immortal. Not even the Angels themselves can kill an Immortal...

Foot Note:

when God punished the Gods, he also wiped the world clean with the Great flood and Noah's Ark..it wasn't until he sent Jesus to remind the ones alive that Man began to turn from their ancient Gods..

also, the Immortals were created about the time Noah's Ark was being built.. they were the chosen 7 who were allowed to keep their long life.. the others died off..that is why they found a skull of a human who had lived for almost 800 years..

much of what I have done ties in to this:

Creation Scientist, Dr. Carl E. Baugh, in his book, Panorama of Creation, suggests a biblical classification of man which he broadly breaks into 4 groups.

1. Protomerec Man. First man (Adam), made perfect by God, and his descendants (the antediluvians), had superior genetic characteristics. Their life spans ran 800 to 900 years long.

2. Isolamerec Man. True man (first post-diluvians shortly before the scattering of Babel) isolated by continental break-up with limited gene pool. Their lives lasted from 400 to 600 years long. They were founders of ancient civilizations. Perhaps the Neanderthal skulls, which were larger than today's skulls, were men of this era.

3. Phobiamerec Man. Ancient man (ancient civilizations, post Babel dispersion) self-isolated by fears and aversions. Life spans reduced to 100 to 200 years. Abraham's era. Perhaps the Cro-Magnon skeletons that created the cave paintings were from this era.

4. Culturamerec Man. True man in historic context. Life spans dwindle to 40 to 70 years long.

Unlike anthropology, Dr. Baugh's categories start with a perfect man in prehistory, that progressively deteriorated by sin and environmental changes, into the historic era, and up to the present era. His classifications reflect the truth of the human condition.

in our universe the antediluvians, are the 7 immortals, who were chosen to exist beyond their 800 to 900 year life spans..
